What is chiropractic?
The word means 'done by hand'. Chiropractic is the third largest healthcare profession in the West. Without drugs or surgery, chiropractors adjust the spine and other bones, in order to:
- Restore nerve function
- Alleviate symptoms
- Promote self-healing
- Facilitate long-term wellbeing.
There are more than 500 different chiropractic techniques worldwide,
reflecting the fact that different approaches suit different people. Alison uses
low force adjustments (without cracking), specifically McTimoney Technique
and Koren Specific Technique (KST).
Alison's approach is
light, and uses speed, dexterity and accuracy to achieve
results.
